Changing seasons. Light and shadow. The subtle colours of nature. MORI is a collection born from the Japanese sensibility of finding beauty in harmony with nature, and the vast landscapes of Mongolia.
One of TANILAG’s signature pieces, Mori is crafted from approximately 340 grams of Mongolian cashmere, nurtured by goats that endure the country’s long, severe winters. A generously weighted, softly textured stole that becomes fuller and more supple with wear. Finished without excessive chemical processing, preserving the natural character of the fibres.
Its generous proportions and exceptional warmth allow it to envelop the body, offering an alternative to a coat in the depths of winter. With proper care and storage, it can be treasured for years to come.
○ TERRACOTTA Inspired by the autumn sky seen through the woodland at dusk, and the fallen leaves that blanket the ground. Its warm, natural tones complement the complexion, bringing a gentle depth to any look.
○ WOOD CHIP A beautifully balanced woody brown that complements outerwear in almost any colour. Versatile and timeless, an effortless wardrobe staple.
○ CHOCOLATE A rich, comforting chocolate brown. Rather than a flat, matte tone, the colour captures the depth of natural wood and the warmth of a glowing fireplace. Soft yet defined, this earthy shade enhances the complexion, adding a quiet presence to any look.
○ NIGHT CHERRY A nuanced taupe pink, deeper than coral, with carefully restrained saturation and lightness. Flattering against the skin, it pairs naturally with the understated outerwear colours favoured in Japanese wardrobes, particularly grey and navy. Approximately 5 cm longer than the original European sizing, its extended length lends an elegant presence to this subtle shade.
